Anne Owen

Anne Owen is a Writer and Writers’ Assistant whose credits include DC Super Hero Girls, Marvel’s What If…?, Green Eggs and Ham, bringing nearly a decade of writers’ room and production experience in animation.

She previously served as Script Coordinator at Marvel Studios, where she worked across multiple seasons of What If…?, tracking scripts, researching Marvel canon, and supporting the writers’ room throughout development and production. She was most recently supporting the writers’ room of an unreleased Netflix animated series.

Anne grew up an adopted only child in the suburbs of Boston until high school, when she moved to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and suddenly had 30 extended family members living nearby. The experience permanently shaped her interest in stories about identity, unconventional families, and what happens when people are dropped into wildly unfamiliar situations. After earning a very serious Economics degree, she disappointed her parents by moving to Los Angeles to write and has been working in animation ever since.
